Principal UX Designer – ex-LSEG

I turn complex problems into products people can use. I also enable the designers around me to grow.

I’m a UX design leader in London with a keen eye for detail. I pair strategic thinking with hands-on design, and I explain where an experience falls short in a way a team can act on.

Astrid Rauscha

I began as an engineer. Then I designed for millions of people. Now I lead UX for complex data platforms.

Today my tools are Figma, Claude, a pencil and a notebook.

I studied media informatics in Vienna, then worked as a UX designer and frontend engineer at ComAround, on a knowledge platform used by 150,000 people a day.

    Product designer

At LegalZoom and Secret Escapes, I grew as a product designer, designing legal services for 4 million customers and a travel app for 62 million members.

I cook to switch off, and a new recipe is the best excuse.

  • Making things

I like working with my hands, from crochet and painting to photo books and puzzles.

  • Staying active

I keep active with martial arts, dancing and yoga. I also walk a lot, in London and wherever I travel.
